Enticing aromas of black licorice, plum, tuberose, and loam merge on the surprisingly elegant nose. The palate is more powerful, exhibiting bold flavors of cassis, cedar, Bing cherry and a confectionary earthiness. The midpalate is round with pleasingly grippy tannins and a long lingering finish.
